Larry Rohan

Larry Rohan #55, graduated in 1961 from Archbishop Carroll High School where he was a three-letter sportsman each year from 1958 to 1961. He honorably served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He subsequently graduated from the University of Maryland. Larry was a highly respected manager with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.  His coworkers described him as kind, caring, laid back, funny, and who always had time for everybody.  He had the ability to bring people together.

He presented his love of football in a unique way. He would talk Football anytime, anywhere, to anyone and remained a loyal Washington Redskins fan to the end.

Larry Rohan had over 50 years of officiating experience both in Canada and the United States.

He officiated 300 CFL games over 15 years.

Larry served with the BCFOA as the Provincial Education Coordinator as well as the Allocator for BCFC and CIS games.  He left big shoes to fill.

Larry was also the Supervisor of Officials in Vancouver for the Canadian Football League.  The game announcer always made certain that Larry was introduced at every game.

Larry was born on January 11, 1943 and passed away suddenly on November 24, 2016.
